We were joined by Blind Dave and Deb his wife and not forgetting Seamus his trusted dog, to share the occasion with the community to help raise much-needed monies for such a worthy cause. There were stalls and tombolo together with Coffee and homemade cake from Juanita’s mom and friends, well done to everyone for a succesful and entertaining morning.

OSCAR at the CAP Centre, Windmill Lane

a set on Flickr.

Saturday evening we were invited to attend this fundraising event at CAP in Windmill Lane to help support and provide much need funds for OSCAR Sandwell.

OSCAR is the organisation for Sickle Cell Anaemia Research and Thalassaemia Support. This fundraising event will help provide much-needed funds to go to supporting the Charity’s Sandwell clients who have this illness which is hereditary.

We were joined by the Chair Donald Campbell and distinguished guests to celebrate this wonderful occasion. I was asked to proposed the toast to OSCAR Sandwell and help draw the raffle.

A good night was had by all.
